Hi, I’m Haritha

My mum was ahead of her time, introducing me to healthy, delicious home cooking from a range of global cuisines when I was growing up. But during my 20s, I didn’t pay so much attention to what I ate or to my stress levels. And in my 30s, following a move overseas, I experienced burnout: I felt anxious and overwhelmed, my energy levels fluctuated, and I had trouble sleeping.

Going through this tough period in my life encouraged me to explore factors that might be influencing my wellbeing, including my diet and lifestyle. I made changes and gradually started feeling better. Nowadays my body and mind are more resilient, and I’m able to bounce back from stress more quickly.

After seeing my own health improve partly through dietary change, I wanted to find out more about nutrition: the science behind it and its potential to reduce the risk of disease. I went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Personalised Nutrition from Middlesex University (in collaboration with the Centre for Nutrition Education and Lifestyle Management). I also have an MSc in Health Promotion from King’s College London, and an NLP coaching certificate.

As a registered nutritional therapist, I now help people who are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or simply burnt out with niggling health issues such as digestive problems, fatigue, and low mood. If that sounds like you, I can offer dietary and lifestyle advice that can put you on a path to improved health and wellbeing.

Through a process of collaboration and partnership, I provide doable, bespoke evidenced-based food plans. I utilise coaching to motivate and break down any barriers that may be hindering your success. My approach is empathetic, with an emphasis on progress not perfection, and on sustainability rather than deprivation. I named my business “good balance” because that’s exactly what I want you to achieve with your diet and your life.
